Charles Rowland is a consultant to Dixon Advisory. He is a retired academic who taught at the Australian National University for many years, specialising in the law of wills and executors. He also taught at James Cook University of North Queensland and the University of South Africa.
He is the author of Hutley’s Australian Wills Precedents (LexisNexis), which is now in its 7th edition; he is also a co-author of RS Geddes, CJ Rowland and Paul Studdert, Wills, Probate and Administration Law in New South Wales (Law Book Co), and other publications.
Charles has been involved in law reform in the area of succession law, and is the ACT representative on the Australian National Committee for Uniform Succession Laws. He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (cum laude), both from the University of Natal.
