The Role

As the Equity Research Sales lead based in our HK office, you will bring an established network of institutional equity investor clients to the E&P platform to drive and further develop our expanding global platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, develop and expand institutional client relationships with key Asian & global accounts.
  • Leverage E&P’s extensive network embracing a collegiate approach with peers in equities, research, capital markets and investment banking.
  • Work closely with E&P’s network of research analysts and support their goals and recognition with client base.
  • Execute and continually evolve the strategic plan in the development and execution in all parts of the Asian & global business strategy.
  • Bring high degree of market knowledge and experience; develop and communicate research & trading ideas and adding value to client base.
  • Requires high level of self-motivation, enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Must maintain level of knowledge through CPD
  • Equities knowledge & understanding of financial markets – 5-10 years experience
  • Building strong and enduring client relationships that focus on a win-win situation
  • Seeking to understand what our clients need and offer advice and solutions that are right for them
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced-level Excel skills, Bloomberg, Salesforce & IRESS working knowledge.

The Role

As an Events Manager at E&P’s Sydney office, you will play an integral role in supporting the Marketing and Wealth divisions of the business, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. This is an ideal role for a proactive and motivated individual looking to enhance their skills, gain valuable experience and progress their career within Financial Services.

A typical day may include:

  • Meeting with and building relationships with stakeholders to create awareness of resourcing and capability of event planning.
  • Managing all logistical aspects of an event, such as venue coordination and equipment arrangements.
  • Ensuring consistency and success of events through contract management and project planning.
  • Handling all preparatory tasks necessary for events.
  • Managing relationships with external service providers and vendors involved in an event.

The Role

As a Team Assistant at E&P’s Sydney office, you will play an integral role in supporting the Corporate Advisory team in Melbourne & Sydney.  This is an ideal role for a proactive and motivated individual looking to enhance their administrative skills, gain valuable experience and progress their career within Financial Services.

A typical day may include:

  • Taking primary responsibility for three Managing Directors, three Executive Directors and junior staff across Sydney and Melbourne
  • Maintenance of diaries, folders, filing systems and client contact lists
  • Greeting clients, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling meetings, and coordinating catering for internal/external meetings
  • Coordinating Internal and External events and travel arrangements as required
  • Printing and preparing documents ahead of meetings as well as monitoring stationery supplies
  • Reconciling expenses for the team.

Our environment can be fast-paced, and you’ll often find you’re assisting multiple stakeholders at any given time, so your ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining high attention to detail is crucial.  As you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders and assisting with the preparation and coordination of meetings and events, strong computer skills (particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite) as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will also have some previous related experience.

The Role

Joining E&P as an Associate in our Private Wealth Management team in Melbourne, you will work across a number of our teams providing support to the Advisers. This is a great opportunity to work and gain a broad depth of experience in your first role in the industry.

Your role will have a strong administration focus where you will develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the role which will provide you with a solid foundation to grow your career over time.  You will assist the team to provide high levels of service associated with managing a private wealth client base.

A typical day may include:

  • Provide technical and administration support to Advisers.
  • Place buy/sell orders on the market as requested by clients.
  • Manage funds product orders.
  • Provide analysis and on-going monitoring of investments.
  • Preparation of formal advice documents (ie Statements of Advice).
  • Assist with client meetings and respond to client request.

About You

Key to your success in the role will be:

  • A relevant Bachelors’ degree (Commerce or similar)
  • A strong interest in and/or prior experience in financial services and financial markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail

The Role

If you are a recent accounting graduate with a keen interest in the financial services and wealth management industry, then we want to talk to you. A typical day may include:

  • entering and allocating accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
  • undertaking bank and investment reconciliations
  • preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
  • working on rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
  • liaising with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
  • accurate record keeping, processing and system management, and
  • supporting our network of financial and investment advisers.

You will be a high achiever with strong academic results in your undergraduate Accounting degree and attention to detail is a must.  Our environment can be fast-paced, and we work with multiple clients at any one time, so your ability to manage competing priorities is equally as important as your accounting skills.
