Trailing commissions are small ongoing amounts often paid to advisors in the years after you buy a managed investment. An average of 0.5% of your investment is paid as a commission to whoever opened your investment – fees that diminish your returns. 




LET DIXON ADVISORY HELP YOU RECLAIM TRAILING COMMISSIONS ON YOUR MANAGED FUNDS
Dixon Advisory strongly believe in a fee for service, so we rebate all entry/exit fees on managed funds and the annual trailing commissions back to you. 

We automatically offer this service to our clients, however we offer this service to non Dixon Advisory clients also. If your fund manger is paying commissions to your advisor, then you are well within your right to ask your advisor to rebate this fee back to you. If they wont, then make sure you have the trailing commission redirected to an advisor who will. Dixon Advisory holds an Australian Financial Services License which means that we are entitled to collect your trailing commission and rebate it back to you. 

There is no need for you to change any of your existing funds, simply appoint Dixon Advisory as your advisor and from this point onwards, we will collect any entry/exit fees you incur and your monthly trailing commissions. At the end of the financial year, we will rebate the commissions you are entitled to.
 
As a maximum administration fee, Dixon Advisory charges $150pa + GST, per managed investment, to process your annual entry/exit + trailing commissions which is deducted from your rebate, we believe this rebate service is one of the most generous offers in Australia. If your rebate falls short of our admin fee we do not ask that you pay the difference. 

Our rebate service is applicable for most managed fund setups but there can be the rare exception. Dixon Advisory’s Commissions Manager can advise you further on this.
