Rudd's demands could exceed all expectations

The ALP's Faustian bargain with our born-again Prime Minister could bring out the worst in a leader with a history of egocentrism.

I wonder whether the Labor Party comprehends all the implications of the Faustian bargain it has struck with Kevin Rudd. The first invoice of that bargain has been delivered: Labor is now on an even footing with the Coalition in the opinion polls. In fact, if you take the polls at face value, the ascendancy of Rudd's popularity gives Labor a slight edge.
