With significant estate planning and taxation experience, Kay Papadopoulos provides SMSF succession and estate planning advice to clients to provide a seamless and effective transfer of their assets, while being conscious of the sensitive nature of dealing with their personal affairs.
Kay assists clients with their wills (including wills with testamentary trusts), enduring powers of attorney, succession of family trusts, binding death benefit nominations, letters of wishes and family loan agreements to preserve family assets. She can also assist with the process after a loved one dies by preparing and lodging documents to obtain a Grant of Probate.
Before joining Dixon Advisory Law, Kay worked as a lawyer in private practice in NSW and Victoria, specialising in estate planning, estate administration, trusts and taxation.
Kay holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney. Kay also holds a Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates (LLM). She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the Certified Trustee and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.
